Státní doktorská zkouška/Doctoral State Exam

Termín státní doktorské zkoušky navrhuje student po konzultaci se svým školitelem v tomto dokumentu, v souladu se studijním plánem (doporučujeme 2. ročník). Sekretariát OR se školitelem a studentem v nejbližší době konzultují finální termín. 

Státní doktorská zkouška má dvě části a trvá 50–60 minut.

1. V první části uchazeč představí během 5–7 minut teze a dosavadní pokroky v přípravě své dizertační práce. Následuje přibližně desetiminutová diskuse, v níž uchazeč reaguje na dotazy členů komise směrované do oblasti tématu jeho studia.

2. V druhé části zkoušky si uchazeč předem volí jeden z pěti okruhů (Anatomie, Histologie, Embryologie, Buněčná biologie, Metodiky), z kterého si vylosuje tři otázky. Pro odpověď a následné doplňující otázky od členů komise se nepředpokládá písemná příprava, jde o ústní část zkoušky s předpokládanou dobou trvání 30–40 minut.

The student and her/his supervisor suggest the term state exam in this document, by the study plan (2nd year is recommended). The secretary of the Board will contact and discuss the term with the supervisor and student henceforward. 

The final exam consists of two parts and it lasts 50–60 minutes.

1. During the first part, the candidate briefly presents the current progress in preparing his/her dissertation thesis (within 5–7 minutes). This is followed by an approximately 10-minute discussion in which the candidate responds to questions from committee members directed to the topic of his/her studies.

2. In the second part of the exam, the candidate chooses one of the five areas (Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Cell Biology, Methods). Three questions will be drawn randomly from the selected area. No written preparation is expected for being ready to answer the questions and subsequent supplementary questions from the committee members.

The expected duration of this part of the oral exam is 30–40 minutes.
