BIO

In the last ten years, he has been the Director of Strategy at the Center for Shared Society
of Givat Haviva. Givat Haviva is a civil society organization for social change that works in
education, municipal and regional partnerships, art, culture, and public engagements.
In brief, Givat Haviva, which was founded already in 1949, is fostering greater equality in
Israel, and it is the oldest and certainly one of the very most distinguished organizations
in the field of promoting equality and reconciliation between Israel's Arabs and Jews.
Mohammad Darawshe holds a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Management
from Haifa University, and he is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Education at An-Najah
National University.
Since 2016- he is Richard Von Weizsäcker Fellow at Robert Bosch Academy in Berlin,
Involved in Researching the status of European national minorities.

He is a faculty member at the Hartman Institute in Jerusalem,

He has worked as co-director of the Abraham Initiatives on the political front. He was the
elections campaign manager at the Democratic Arab Party, United Arab List, and 
a leadership fellow at the New Israel Fund.
He's presented several lectures at the European Parliament, the NATO Defense College, or
World Economic Forum, United States Congress, and more.
He's received awards from the Catholic Theological Union
and the World Association of NGOs. He is a member of the National Committee on
Coexistence Education Policy in the Prime Minister's Office.
