Tomáš Blűmel

I was born in Kolin, located about 60 km from Prague, on 30 October 1991. After finishing eight classes of primary school, I studied at Gymnazium in Kolin and I successfully finished the school by passing the maturita exam in 2011.

Generally, I deal with the World history in the 20th Century. From 2011 to 2016 I studied at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, focusing on Gneral History. I passed the Bachelor Final Exam in 2011. My Bachelor thesis was called: „Czechoslovak antifascist resistence in Culture of Memory in 1945-1948 in regional context. The Case of Kolín Region.“ In 2018, I achieved the degree of Master (Mgr.). My Master thesis was called: „Contribution to the Study of Military Non-organized Resistance Movement against Nazi/Fascist Tyranny (Occupied Power) during the WWII in the Big screen.“ Since 2018 I have been creating Rigorous thesis named „Modern Film Reflection of Military Non-organized Resistance Movement against Nazi/Fascist Occupied Power during the WWII of the Visegrad Group“.

In January 2019 I started working at E-learning support Centre of Central Library of Charles University.

I do many sports, especially road cycling, where I am a semi-professional cyclist by Rafkarna IDEA cycling Team. My hobbies are the Czech tramping union, travelling, films and movie making.
